Sharp edged weapons defense training.

Real knife attacks. Train appropriately.

Seriously, im not gonna try to disarm a knife off of someone, not matter how much training. A gun defense is the best bet, training will only increase your chances of survival.

That last video was simply rediculous, those cops shoulda had their guns drawn, that would have never happened.

Thanks alot for these. Everyone should train knife defenses. Sure I'd rather ansewer the threat with a firearm but what if I am unarmed? What if there is a double feed or other malfunction? Knife and gun defense should be taught everywhere. The problem is they are taught properly almost nowhere.

That was the worst tactics ever. They surrounded him, which means if they fired they may have hit each other. Their shots were made in haste and panic so they missed several times.

They should have all stayed far away with the one closest,(the one who got stabbed first) on the other side of the fence.

No dogs? No long distance pepper spray? No taser? Poorly equipped and poorly trained.

If nothing else training with knives and whatever else will at the very least get you ready for a situation. If I have to face a nut with a knife I'd rather have a little bit of confidence that I'm not going to be hacked to bits. And, a defensive technique or two might come in handy.

That last one apart from the terrible tactics employed just demonstrated how dangerous a knife can be even compared to a gun. He managed to badly wound three people in no time at all.
