High quality fixed blade

Whatsup guys? I'm starting to get interested in knives again (had a collection when I was younger), and recently bought a nice Gerber tactical folder. But, the one thing that I'd really like to have is a fixed blade. I've been looking alot at SOG (their "SEAL Pup Elite" or "Daggert"), but in my state you can't carry a knife that is longer than 11 inches total length, so they don't have too many choices other than those two models and maybe 3-4 more. The uses for the knife would be to carry for self-defense, but mainly to just look at and add to my collection. So what is a top quality fixed blade that has a combat style blade on it? Any other brands outside of Gerber and SOG to look at?

I LOVE my SOG SEAL pup. Everything about it. The only thing I regret is that it isn't made in America.

Check out cold steel, they have some fine fixed blades as well.

^Call up SOG, they might want to use that in an endorsement. Seriously.
