Hatch Defender Gloves

Recently bought the hatch defender gloves (weighted gloves used by police forces) Im a little disapointed with the construction, the added weight seems to do little more than have add padding to my hands and absorb impact rather than add to a harder hit.

Has anyone else tried these? Any other thoughts out there?

I bought them a while ago for bouncing. They suck. They dont make your punch harder and they wont protect your knuckles for injury. The only thing they are good at is for slapping people. The defenders also fell apart after a few months of use. Massive waste of money stick to the regular Hatch Resistors, they are cheaper, practical and can be worn everywhere in public since they look like regular leather gloves.

I've got some quartz-filled leathergloves. they are very good (no-name product) but are not allowed for bouncing in most countries...

Yeah they are, cops have seen me wearing them while working and came up to me and made jokes about them. They know that the gloves are hardly deadly even though they may not be 100% legal. Some cops advised me to change them since other officers may hassle me for them. I never took the advice but as I said they fell apart in 6 months, and I'll never wear them again. I think loaded gloves are in the "grey area" in terms of legality.
