No difference from a standard Glock 22 in either of those areas. I have shot a C model during night shoots and low light courses and have not noticed any significant difference in sight aquisition for follow-up shots compared to non-comped pistols. Yep, more flash is directed up into your sight line but the muzzle flash from a standard model goofs you you too.
Two areas were you may notice a difference. 1) there's a small loss of muzzle velocity when measured across a chrono. Unless you are cutting the lower edge of a 'power factor' for a competition, it's not an issue. 2) muzzle blast in 'non-traditional' firing positions. When you fire a comped pistol from something like a retention position, you will notice the difference in flash and crap coming back at you. #2 is a good reason to consider not carry a comped pistol for duty.
