No way. Trust me I have an Asp and I can't get it to collapse when jabbing a tree! So there is no way on earth hitting a soft object like a human being is going to cause it to collapse.

Call me a moron, but I didn't mind getting pepper sprayed too much.. Granted I say that now while I don't have the nice wonderful capsicum all over me. It felt as if I had saved money that otherwise would have been spent on hotwings. With that said I love the stuff, works very well if 'n when you need it.

Pretty much you can just let it sit until the pain subsides, or wash carefully with johnson's baby soap and a small amount of water. Though washing will likely spread it and cause more burning for a short time. With or without washing though it does no real physical damage.

On the subject of Expandable Batons they conceal very well in my experience, and they have some very good potential for a good time if you are ever so unfortunate as to have to use it.

My old agency used expandable batons (ASP). You can put a pretty serious hurtin' on somebady. They are nice and heavy and pack a whallop. They come in all sizes. Some so small you can fit it in a pocket.

The best bet is to air the stuff not wash. Put some airflow over your face.

I bought my seventeen inch 'extendo' (the smallest availible) for $40 at a nearby flea market, and it is easily concealable in a jacket pocket. Once extended, it locks up in that position, and is a bitch to put back in.

The screw driver is the number one tool of thieves. Especially car thieves.

Peper spray or mace. Do Not wash your face with water, it will just run over the rest of you face and make it worse. Use a damp clothe, wipe away from you eyes.
