I was eight when i got my first swiss army knife for outdoors use. I carry a knife with me almost everyday since then.

knife use? like general how to cut shit use? yea, probably at like 8. might as well let them get familiar with them.

but knife fighting? no, nut until they're 13-14-15-, or whenever they're mature enough to not just stab someone out of anger. i remember my little brother trying to stab me with a bread saw when i beat him at halo. he was 8. that is not good.
