California Legal...

Rifles. Hey guys just wondering what are some ideas for California Legal Rifles. I am currently looking at a Bushmaster Carbon 15 with pinned mag, but just thought I would start this thread as I am sure there are many Cali guys pissed that we can't get M4s. Thoughts?

Go to the California Penal code and look up the sections 12020 PC through 12035 PC. This should cover your laws on various guns and weapons. If not then go to the legal source book and look up weapons. Both can be found on line if you Google them.

If you have a specific question I try to answer them for people here but I am not a lawyer, so I use the CPC code and case law for most of my info.

Get the Kel-Tec SU16CA. It the legal California version of the M-16. All parts and upgrades(including clips) are interchangeable with M-16 parts

you could buy a pinned mag ar15 variation, but the mag must be less than 10 rounds. there is a mag lock that my friend has that uses an allen wrench to install, and is hardly noticable.

keltec mag always fall out.

my choice would be i build an ar15, buying a lower is the same as buying the firearm 10 hold, but after that i get to build a firearm that i like, unlike the mag dropping not even cool splitting foregrip/bipod, underfolding stock................ sorry i just dislike the keltec

I have been to 2 gunstore(Burbank and Pasadena), they said the only way u can get M4/M16 style rifles is that the magazine well is welded off. The only way you can load the bullets is like if your cleaning the weapon.

Because of the law, i will pick the ruger 5.56 mini 14.
