WVR's next plan is 'Road to Gomi' tournament.

WVR 4 is 16 guys lightweight tournament. But Gomi is not participate tournament.

But instead, tournament champion will be fight with Gomi.

Another plan is 'Roda to Misaki' middleweight tournament.

That sounds pretty cool but they really should just have Gomi earn his way to the finals by being a member of the tourney.

I dunno. Gomi is the top rated fighter in his weight class.

This is almost a TUFer way of building up a fighter to face Gomi.

It's a cool way of building a champion vs. champion type of match.

sounds good as long as it doesn't mean gomi sits out for the next 6 months. glad to see WVR stepping it up a bit

WVR isn't needed, they should seriously merge with Dream. Dream is the future of Japanese MMA, in my opinion. Their talent pool is much deeper than WVR's, and they already have had three successful shows, with Dream 4 maybe even surpassing Dream 3.

Sengoku 1 was solid, I think it was as good as Dream 1. Perhaps better...Dream 3 was fantastic though.

I agree that they should merge and create a super org that really showcases a wide variety of fighters in their talent pool, but to say they aren't needed is bs.

They have plenty of solid fighters in their stable and are looking to grow.

I think this is a good idea to build up some fighters in their LW division (who do they have though btw??) and get them some exposure before a fight with GOmi...

So when it's all said and done, will that unify the Pride LW title and whatever they have into one WVR LW title?
