Wlad wins in boxing.
It could go either way in MMA, though the huge edge goes to Fedor because of both experience and cross-training.
Fedor wins in Sambo/Judo.

That's the obvious answer. Good Job.

they both have the same chance in each other's sport, and that is a punchers chance. nothing more.

i'm gonna have to disagree with that.
wlad's chances of beating fedor in mma are much higher than fedor's chances of beating wlad in boxing.
matter of fact fedor wouldn't stand a chance against wlad in a boxing match.
get real.

does fedor not stand a punchers chance in a punching sport?
wlad will most certainly beat down fedor, but fedor is fast, and can punch hard enough. there is a *chance* that fedor punches him and hurts him, albeit not a good one.
just the same in MMA. does Wlad have a chance in the 5 seconds that the fight starts up to where fedor clinches with him and dumps him on his neck? yes, he does, albeit not a good one.

You need to know boxing to be in a boxing ring. There is no buts about it. Just because a person can punch does not mean he will do well in a boxing match. Boxing is more so about angles, reach, footwork, etc.. Just because you can punch in mma does not mean you will do well in boxing where the strategy is completely different.
Fedor will get killed against Klitzko in boxing. Its not even funny. He's gonna get peppered with jabs. Just because Fedor hits hard does not mean a thing. Friggin heavyweight boxers all hit hard and prolly harder than Fedor.

2 things..
A. fedor does know boxing, though not the level of a top ten fighter, and certainly not someone like Wlad.
B. im not sure you're understanding the argument. fedor *has* a puncher's chance, seeing as its a punching sport. just like Wlad has a punchers chance before being taken down and having his arm ripped off. they both have a puncher's chance in each others sport.
