I love the small group of people, who after finishing up a bong and masturbating to the Transformers 2 trailer, are insisting Mousasi can just "shake off" or "scramble from under" a Pan-Am freestlye wrestling medallist who did it at heavyweight.

You are underrating Mousasi abilities, that's all.

the thing is, no wrestler or BJJ expert has been able to even come close to hurting mousasi on his back.

He can be a 3x olympic champion but still get submitted with ease by mousasi. A lot better wrestlers than sobral and even olympic champs like ogawa were dominated at times on the ground.

Having said this, mousasi looks better on paper but I still give babalu a chance of beating him, maybe surprise him with a choke.

What do Ogawa and other Olympians have to do with this match up? Babalu has time and time again shown his wrestling has translated very well to MMA.

Time and time again he's shown his mix of Luta Livre and BJJ has been very effective in MMA.

The only person Mousasi has been on the ground with at Babalu's level of grappling is Jacare, and that was over before we could even see Jacare work his ground game.

There's very little evidence in Mousasi's career to suggest he can stop Babalu from putting him on his ass and tapping him.

Babalu's ground game is better, but Mousasi is not exactly a total rookie on the ground. I guess let's see what happens come fight time. I'm rooting for Babalu in this one, though im a fan of Mousasi too.

Is there any doubt about that? Of Babalu is the better grappler.

Mousasi IMO is so talented it wouldn't surprise me if he submitted Babalu. On paper I think the edge goes to Babalu. But on paper the edge went to Nog as well in the Fedor fights.......

But don't mind me, I'm dutch lol
