If Fedor loses will he still be considered a top 5 fighter? I hope he loses, so he can start fighting real fighters.

This fight is a lose lose situation for Fedor.

If he wins, yes, it's impressive but it's against a Freakshow. What does that do for his standing?

If he loses, he just lost to a guy who is 1-0 in MMA. What does that do to his legacy and marketability, etc?

I think Fedor will win, but if anyone thinks that HMC doesn't have a decent shot of destroying just about any man alive, they are deluding themselves.

Choi: strong striker, can take a punch, proved in the many times. He is not a hack. I get it, he's on nobodies top 10....neither was Mark Hunt for a while.

Fedor vs, Choi: This could be Fedors upset. And for the record, Choi would hand Zulu his butt.

I'm excited to see Fedor fight again, and against someone who can strike like Choi, this will be great. Click here to read his profile.

Realname Hong-Man Choi
Nickname The Techno Goliath
Height 2.18 m (7 ft 2 in)
Weight 163.5 kg (360 lb)
Nationality Flag of South Korea Republic of Korea
Birth date October 30, 1980(1980-10-30)
Birth place Jeju, South Korea
Style Ssirum
Kickboxing Record
Total fights 15
Wins 12
Wins by KO 7
Losses 3
Draws 0

Remy Bonjasky only beat him by decision.....and he went the distance with Jerome Lebanner. You fight Jerome and walk away from it, your jaw is stronger than most.

I applaud this fight. I look forward to seeing Choi v Fedor.

Uh-oh, this thread was written using valid points........

On September 30, 2006, Choi fought Jérôme Le Banner in the final eliminations, and lost after 3 Rounds and 1 extra Round on points. After the fight, Le Banner said: "He is dangerous, his knees are already almost at the level of my head, he's not human! But he's a good guy and I like him, he's very tough, maybe the strongest guy in K-1, and he has hard bones -- when I kicked him, it hurt my leg! I'm sure with more experience, in two years no one will be able to knock him out!"

It would be quite the upset. The only way I can see Fedor losing would be something of a fluke/ flash knock-out. I would love to Fedor beat him standing, but chances are it will be a submission... or a repeat of Fedor vs. Schilt.

Fedor isn't going to win the standup and a guy as big as Choi is going to be awfully hard to take down. He also has a Ssireum wrestling background which should help him stay on his feet.

If Choi can keep it standing, he can win.

I think if he loses fanboys will cry themselves to sleep and then abandon Fedor, not all but some, I think there are many Fedor fans so blind because he is undefeated that if he loses he will lose them.
