I don't think the guy is trolling, I could be wrong.

I think he is legitimately reporting what he read on the Bulgarian forums.

People get so emotional and irrational when Fedor's dominance is challenged in any way. The flames are getting a little out of hand.

What will you guys say if he ends up getting signed to Affliction? Will you actually come on here and apologize, or will you hide out and hope nobody remembers this thread?

I will be first to apologise...

But reporting and trolling are two different things. I don't see any links to Bulgarian forums, do you?

No, I don't.

It would be nice if he included that. He is offline now so we'll have to ask him later.

I shouldn't have said that I believe him 100%, but I usually like to give people the benefit of doubt when they report something on the forums. Especially if they haven't been exposed as a troll in the past. I could be wrong, but I don't think he is trolling.

I'm not aggresive person behind my screen either, but if you read through my post, I asked him several times about his sources and he kinda played stupid...

Maybe it's the passing of the torch. This might be an out for Fedor to finally go to the UFC.

AA4142CA, What do you think about these people on here saying that CS has absolutly nothing to do with mma?

I personally think it is pretty damn close. I've watched several matches over the years on the net and I've read the official rules and there aren't many differences.

Do you think someone who is a great CS practitioner could easily make the transition to mma?

The thing is in CS you can be a great wrestler or judoka and that will be enough for you. In CS throw is more valueble than striking. In CS if you give your back away you are 10 or 20 secs away from losing a massive point lead, or concede a throw for example no good for you either.

Most of Fedor fights in CS ended up in TKO stoppage and thats what made him unuque in this sport. I guess Ivanov outsmarted Fedor and beat him technicaly.

Another thing different from MMA is olympic time limit.

But because there aren't many strikers in CS is the reason you don't see many of them on big stage. Apart from Matushenko and Sergei, and maybe Andrei since he started with sambo aswell.

I fail to see how there is any evidence at all in this tread that Ivanov has been signed by Affliction. In fact there seems to be pretty strong evidence that he has not been signed at all.

Congratulations on inventing a rumour and allowing to spread all over the internet. Maybe I will go and start a thread on how Ricky Hatton has signed for Dream, claim he already has 12 MMA wins, and try to alledge that Gordon Brown is trying to supress video's of his fight with Malignaggi.

AA4142CA, I read that Arlovski won the silver medal in the 1999 World Sambo Championship. Did Fedor compete in this tournament? If so what did he place?
