New crib, new fighters, same action! Total Combat, the supreme of the extreme, is coming to the IpayOne center, Saturday July 15th with the most explosive mixed martial arts action in the Golden State.

In the main event Adam Lynn will defend his 155- pound title against the 11 and 1 Jaime Varner. Varner has finished over 90% of his opponents and his only loss came by decision back in 2003! This match up has "fight of the year" potential written all over it! And bring on the Young Guns! First. The Bull Pen's Gary Padilla will take on the man San Diego has been waiting years to see step in the cage. The man they call "Judo" Terry Sokoudjo. A world-class judo player Sokoudjo has recently taken up kickboxing and plans to employ his new toys against the undefeated Padilla. The unbeaten Ian McCall will face the flamboyant and often hated Chris David. McCall has finished all of his opponents and wants to do the same to the flashy Total Combat veteran.

And get ready for a war of attrition and submission as San Diego Fight Club's, Dave Hisquirdo takes on the Pedro Sauer prodigy, Jeff "Little Mac" Willingham. Both of these fighters have excellent ground games and both are capable of a few surprises! Camp Pendleton Marine Josh Griggs and local favorites Wade Shipp, Chance Farrar, Shannon Gugerty and Juan Miranda will also be in action. Like Ultimate Fighter winner, Kendall Grove, before them, these Young Guns want to show that they are the next generation of Total Combat royalty!

Total Combat lives up to its name by organizing a meet & greet for our men and women in uniform! On Friday July 14th at 10:30am, San Diego's own mixed martial arts extravaganza, is taking time to bring its brand of extreme entertainment to the troops at the Camp Pendleton Marine Base in Oceanside California.

Our fine Marines will get to meet and greet UFC Hall Of Famer, Randy "The Natural" Couture. And he's not alone! The Ultimate Fighter 3 winner and former Total Combat 185 pound champion, Kendall "Spyder" Grove will be in attendance along with current UFC superstars, Brandon "The Truth" Vera and Dean "The Boogeyman" Lister. These great fighters are taking time off from training and other responsibilities to show support for America's true heroes.



Weight-Ins- And then, a short drive south on interstate 5, the Total Combat weigh-ins will take place at Hooters in down town San Diego at 7:00pm sharp. Kendall Grove and Dean Lister will make the trip down and they will be joined by "The Prodigy" BJ Penn! You all are invited to hang out with these great gladiators as they support the next generation of MMA legends as they prepare for TOTAL COMBAT the very next day, July 15th, at the IpayOne Center! Come see Big fights, and Big Names at a Big venue! Tickets still available and will be on sale on site at both pre- events.
