Time to stop hating on Goldie and Rogan, we saw last night it could be worse...
This thread is intended strictly for talk on the commentating last night.
Was anyone else annoyed by the commentators (including Shamrock) and cringing when that dipshit interviewed Fedor/Rogers?
Personally I like Rogan. He's got a lot of MMA knowledge, trains MMA, and gives pretty good interviews inside the cage after a fight. Goldie is a douche, but I'd take him over those guys any day talking ring side during the fight.
Strikeforce did an ok job last night. I loved the card, loved the fights, but FUCK they need to do something with those idiots we have to listen to before/after the fight.

Yea I forgot about that.
Also, that moron CONSTANTLY calling out the wrong names during the fight, on who had top position or whatever. I think he did that about 4-5 times. Do they even know who the fighters are or are they just reading Que cards? Idiots.

The hate towards commentators on Sherdog is ridiculous. Do any of you realize how fucking hard it is to do that job and not sound like a fucking douche? Even if you DO know your MMA!
I for one love Mauro Ranallo and Frank Shamrock was also very good last night. The hate towards Joe Rogan and Goldberg is exagerated. They are good at what they do. Problem is we hear them way too often so we can predict almost exactly what they're gonna say. It's like when you have a really close friend, but you see him too often so you have nothing new and relavent to say.

The announcing last night was an abomination. I respect Frank Shamrock's career as a fighter, but a cageside announcer he is NOT. Gus Johnson needs to stick to his overdramatic football/basketball announcing. Mauro is still solid, but he's surrounded by a couple of morons.

I think the "dipshit" is CBS's guy... and yeah, snatching the mic away from Fedor was a dipshit thing to do. The commentary in general was a mess, no coherent thread to it at all and too many, how many did they have 3 or was it 4?

Shamrock sounded like an idiot. "It looks like some sort of <insert a horrible description of a position/move here>" How do you score this fight Frank? "I can't, I just can't score this fight, there's too much happening." or "I have no idea"
