Because Overeem keeps fighting in K1 and they don't want to lose a prize pig and/or fuck up a future title bout for Fedor? There are three fights left in SF for Fedor, and Werdum is one of them. I don't care what order he takes them in as long as he takes them.

Fedor is a contender sherdog please stop acting like fedor is the SF Champion it is getting ridiculous Fedor and Werdum are on the same league in terms of contender status.Therefore they should fight to determine the true #1 contender to Overeem's Strikeforce Heavyweight Title.

Ok so make AO vs Fedor. You dont lose the prize pig if you make that fight right now. Any other fight takes credibility away from your org.
"Fedor is the best fighter in the world!!!" Then why the hell is he not fighting for your org's belt?

Werdum won his last fight, as did Fedor. Plus, this puts pressure on Overeem.
Coker knows what he is doing. Please leave the fight promoting to professionals and be quiet and enjoy the show.

1. By American HW, you obviously mean JDS? Lol yea the UFC doesnt want quality fighters in their org. I am sure it was a one sided afair. I mean why would the UFC possibly want a Brazilian champion.
2. JESUS CHRIST!!!! I wanna vomit everytime someone quotes guys ADCC titles, NCAA wrestling credentials, boxing in the merchant marines, or playing hop scotch in elementary school. I really dont care. I am watching MMA, not ADCC. Lets keep it confined to what happens in the cage/mma ring

Werdum makes sense for several reasons.
First he is a legit top HW.
Second Overeem is ducking his responsibility by fighting everywhere but the US and not defending his title in a timely manner.
And third it makes sense in that Werdum gained some noteriety from fighting in the UFC, and feeding him to Fedor will help build Fedors marketing recognition factor for the day he destroys Overeem.
Having said that, I believe that Fedor had earned an instant titleshot up front, and trying to build up fights can often end in disaster.
Fedor may deserve to take his rightful place as champ, but other have different plans.
