It would be a huge FU to Dana and would take their rivalry to new levels. CEO versus CEO.

I'm pretty sure Tito has $2 million dollars laying around. That's all it would take to buy 51% of the outstanding shares of the IFL at their current price of $0.05 per share. Their current market capitalization is under $4 million.

If Tito can't scrape that much together, he can always ask Jenna for a loan from her petty cash drawer. Jenna's porn empire earns her $2 million dollars every day before she has even finished her breakfast.

Yes.

And I think he should buy it, or buy PRIDE from Zuffa and restart that, good brand name.

When the UFC folds there will be a big gap, there already is in the USA HW division.

No he will not buy it, it's a horrible gamble. I'm sorry but the IFL is a sinking ship and no one in the right mind frame will dump money into it.

His purchasing it could be really neat.

His running it? Not so sure. He might not have the experience. Though he could make a good figure head and communicator between management and fighters. He knows how to promote his own fights very well, that might be able to transfer in promoting an organization.

I think Tito should buy it. His mainstream MMA appeal could add a lot of exposure and vitality to the IFL, which I think is an awesome org. Plus like I said earlier, it would piss off Dana to no end, and would be the PERFECT way to bait Dana into talking endless shit about the IFL, essentially giving them all that exposure from UFC fans who wouldn't otherwise know what the IFL is.

And I think that Dana hates Tito enough and is enough of a hothead to do it. This promotion rivalry could be bigger than sliced bread. Who knows, he might even be able to bait Dana into doing cross-promotion by appealing to his ego and his desire to make Tito look like a jackass. If anyone can do it, Tito can.

the biggest problem w/ the ifl is that fighters use it as a stepping stone to get to bigger orgs. tito's ego would take a huge hit when his best fighters leave for the ufc

Umm, no.

I seriously doubt that Tito has the capital to purchase the IFL, and I'm even more sure that he doesn't have the capital and business skills to turn it around from the money pit that it currently is.
