1. You really need to look up the term "blindly".
2. Please provide evidence that even one person's identity is defined by allegiance to an organization. That is one of the more bizarre claims that I've heard on here in while. Oh, by evidence, I mean something other than your worthless opinion.
3. Hmm let me guess, if I look at your post history I'll find a bunch of posts of you bashing anything related to PRIDE.

You're a clown. Go away.

I think HDNet should really work on trying to broadcast the DREAM events, however not many people have HDNet so many people cannot see it. But if they can do some shows with their affliliate (EliteXC), perhaps they can borrow some airtime on Showtime.

I think that HDNet should still work on broadcasting DREAM events from Japan. That would still be awesome.

I watch everything MMA/kickboxing in Japan... Pancrase, Shooto, K-1, Shootboxing, ZST, Cage Force, All Japan Kickboxing, J-Kick, New Japan Kickboxing, Demolition... and now Sengoku (WFR) and Dreams. And I have been live to so many... maybe that's why I bitch so much about the match-making and what looks like obvious sneaky and shaddy reffing.

I also bitch that they do NOT drug test here. (I send a letter to Gonkaku magazing every month telling them to investigate) BUT THAT is a different thread.
I'm glad it is free.
World Fighting Road (AKA: Sengoku) is NOT!!! I doubt they stay around for more than 2 years.

All in all, live in Japan is cool. ...But I wish UFC and WEC were broadcast here, too!!! I gotta wait for friends to send me DVD's of those.

It seems like each country has their advantages with respect to watching MMA on the television. I enjoy watching UFC and WEC events because both events have great fighters on their roster. And likewise, in Japan you get to see all of the promotions that you listed above. I guess it ends up being a wash.

I have been wondering why Zuffa doesn't have an agreement in place with a Japanese cable provider or ppv company so that their events can be televised in Japan. If you end up checking back in with this thread, feel free to offer some insight on the general sentiment towards the UFC and WEC in Japan. I'd be very interested to know more about that topic.
