***Sherdog, Show Your Support For Dream!***

Sherdog,

We are a strong MMA community. We discuss MMA all day long. What could be better than more MMA? In that vein, lets show our support and interest in the new MMA promotion, Dream.

Dream is the product of K1 and their governing body FEG. Hopefully, Sherdog can well up extra support and interest in Dream which may ultimately lead to FEG obtaining television agreements that would result in U.S. fans and fans throughout the world having the opportunity to view Dream on their television sets.

HDNet televised Yerrenoka on NYE, so perhaps they would be interested in televising Dream. The more interest that HDNet subscribers exhibit in viewing Dream the greater the likelihood of them considering televising the Dream promotion.

HDNet states on their webpage that their "viewers ask hundreds of questions of us every week." I'm almost certain that we can surpass that amount given the level of interest that Sherdog forum members and guests exude towards MMA.

Below is the email contact information for Dream (FEG) and HDNet:

Dream (FEG): official@feg-jp.com

HDNet: viewer@hd.net

Great idea. I for one am interested in seeing fights from Dream.
Especially since I did not get to see the bulk of the Pride era. I would like to get to know a lot more about the fighters from Japan, which I'm guessing they will have more of then in the UFC.

I myself don't have HDNet but it seems to be a good thing that they are getting all over MMA. The more MMA coverage the better for the sport period.

Thanks for showing support. You know, as a subscriber to HDNet I would hope that HDNet would be taking some interest in televising Dream events. But I would still be stoked if FEG worked out some deals with ppv providers so that Dream could at least be televised in some fashion.

I agree with you. The more MMA the better. Especially when there's talent-rich Grand Prix's in the mix. Thanks for sending the email.

Blindly supporting an org that has yet to even put on event is absurd. Where do you people--people whose very identity is defined by an org allegiance--keep coming from? It's like a goddamned leaky faucet that can't be turned off.

So I guess you didn't send an email.

Seriously, what are you talking about?

What does this statement even mean "people whose very identity is defined by an org allegiance?" What organization do you surmise that us "people" are showing allegiance to?

Where in this thread do I say that one organization is better than another? Hmm. Nowhere... I'm just excited about the roster of fighters Dream has publicly stated to possess as well as the Grand Prix format that Dream will be employing.

for most pride fans the thought of an organization similar to pride being born is a very exciting thing.

I also think that these forums get a little crazy.
IFL recieved the same support before they ever had a show.
Same with Bodog and M-1

For me, Dreams is on free TV in Japan... so whatever. Free = getting what you pay for.
