Sherdog DREAM Poll vs. Odds. Interesting.

After checking out the Sherdog poll on who is going to win the DREAM Grand Prix I checked out the odds and made some interesting finds. The two BIG favorites to win for Sherdog are JZ and Aoki with Kawajiri at a weak 7% while the lines have Kawajiri as the favorite. I'm guessing the odds makers are banking on Aoki and JZ beating the crap out of each other and not doing well in the tourney.

JZ, Aoki and Hansen are the top guys in the poll but Hansen is only a +625. It will be interesting to see who predicts the tournament better, odds makers or Sherdoggers.

Kotetsu Boku 1%
Joachim Hansen 13%
Gesias Calvancante 33%
Shinya Aoki 28%
Artur Oumakhanov 0%
Katsuhiko Nagata 1%
Tatsuya Kawajiri 7%
Kultar Gill 2%
Eddie Alvarez 6%
Amdre Amade 1%
Mitsuhiro Ishida 3%
Bu Kyung Jung 2%
Kazuyuki Miyata 0%
Luiz Firmino 0%
Other 2%

Tatsuya Kawajiri +240
Shinya Aoki +300
Gesias Calvancante +320
Mitsuhiro Ishida +400
Andre Dida Amade +500
Joachim Hansen +625
Artur Oumakhanov +900
Eddie Alvarez +1100
Luiz Buscape Firmino +1500
Kazuyuki Miyata +1800
Katsuhiko Nagata +1800
Kotetsu Boku +1800
Bu Kyung Jung +2200
Kultar Gill +3800
Field (Any Other fighter) +600

Bump the thread after the tourney is over, then the comparison will be more interesting. ;)

I love how people seem to forget that Hansen blows, and that T-Blood would ruin his life.

Im shocked how low dida is on this poll. Hes 5 to one to win by the odds but alvarez has been voted for five times as much according to sherdog and I voted for dida. WTF?

I don't understand why Hansen is ahead of Ishida, Dida, Buscapé and Kawajiri...
