I don't think he should be a gatekeeper, the guy needs to call it quits. he's taken way too many harsh beatings over his career, for his own health he just needs to stop. Maybe get into training new fighters, I'm sure his skills can be put to great use being a trainer.

I have mad respect for Saku, and I think his fight with Royce last year should have been his last. He is still a great fighter, but you know when someone's past their prime.

He should just run the biggest MMA school in Japan, he would be like Helio Gracie, looked at like a god, and just travel and put on Seminars for some serious cash. Modern day YODA!

It's like FEG and the former PRIDE execs are trying to kill him. They match him up with the guy who can do the most physical damage to him. A Mayhem or Jacare fight when have been more fun, could have been a technical grappling match. The Saku/Manhoef fight went about as I expected it to. It was sad but predictable. He really should hang em up. He has nothing to prove.

At least stop forcing him in there with top fighters or aspiring top fighters...
