Rizzo Vs. Eilers - The Best Pedro We've Seen?

Just finally got to see this fight from Art of War.

I was very impressed with Rizzo. Alot of people discredit his win due to the fact that he was fighting Justin, but from what I saw this is the best Rizzo performance in a long time.

Firstly he was pressing the action. Pedro pressing the action!!! Shocking.

He was aggressive, mixed up his strikes. Knee's, elbows, high kicks. It was all there.

He had Eilers hurt numerous times, early in the first and I thought it was over at the end of the second. Was it just me or did the clock say 10 seconds remaining? Dunno.

I know it's early to say Pedro is back and can do some damage in the division, especially when we haven't seen much of a ground game, but Pedro is going in the right direction.

Thoughts on Pedro and what's next for him?

I think he should give fighting at 205 a shot. He always has some extra weight at HW and I don't think if he got rid of that he would have to cut that much to make LHW. I truly believe he could do some serious damage in that division. The potential matchups would be insane.

BTW, where can I check out the video of the Eilers figth?

Man I was worried about Pedro before the fight due to the brutal KO he took at the hands of Roman Zentzov. I did not ever want to see Rizzo fight again strictly out of concern for his health and well being.

With that said I was pleasently suprised that Pedro was so dominant in the bout with Justin. Love to see the old Pedro back. I am proud of Rizzo's courage to continue fighting and wish him the best of luck.

Didn't take long for that ignorant comment.

Roman was also slated to lose against Pedro. Looked what happened there...

Eilers is a good fighter and has only really lost to top competition.

I think moving down to 205 would in fact be his only chance for a comeback of epic proportions.

after reading pedro and nog's crybaby comments about Fedor and CC, the Rizzo-Kharitonov fight has become one of my favorites.

Not familiar with that, do you have a link to it?

EDIT: Not the fight, the comments. That was probably unclear.

I finally saw this match today and I was pretty impressed with Rizzo's performance... he did eat a couple punches but he didnt seem fazed at all.. I really hope he continures pressing the fight from now on and being agressive
