I REALLy hope marcer lays out a beating but he's 47 for god sake. Could this lousy MMA org not afford a younger former champ???

Im still going with Mercer by KO, because Mercer was a solid pro not a 13 stone computer geek or a 17 stone body builder, he was a real life fighter.

but lets get real this isnt the Mercer who won the inaugraul WBO belt and it is not the Mercer who went the distance with Lennox Lewis, it probabaly isnt even the same Mercer who got stopped by Wladmimir Klitschko, this is a man who is 3 years off of 50!

A. I do have a guy that I am working with. He is helping me with my base and defense, etc. I am working also with a guy from American Top Team.

Q. What do you think Kimbo's chances are against you?
He throws those wild hooks, but it comes back to the boxing skills and his lack of experience. He is built and very strong, but it takes more than that. He doesn’t really have any boxing skills.
Standing toe to toe with any man you can get tagged with a lucky punch, but in this case I feel I can hold my own.

Ray Mercer approached this organization about getting into the cage and fighting mma style.

Kimbo has been training in miami for about a year. With kimbo's speed for being a heavyweight I think training for a year could well prepare him for a mma fight. Who knows how well kimbo has advanced with his stand up and ground game in a year ie: kicks, elbows, punches, sprawls, submissions, basic defense, gnp.

This fight honestly is going to be interesting and totally unpredictable.

I also believe that i read Ray Mercer has a wrestling background so im sure he has adapted very well to training his ground game and his stand up is obviously amazing. I would like to see these guys go the distance and trade kicks, punches, and elbows throughout the whole thing.

What is it you guys say around here? WAR!!!!???
