Croatian medias are buzzing with the story that Lorenzo came to Zagreb to deliver CC a contract personaly(they report that although Dana said the things he said after the CC's fight that CC practily is the sole reason UFC99 didn't flop,im guessing they wanna make CC there new money milker) and went the very same day very satisfied,nothing offical confirmed nor denied yet...one newspaper says that they gave him more fights i na shorter time span(one in september,another in january)...Cain and winner of Nog/Couter were thrown around as potential opponets..

crocop= way past prime anyways. He needed the accidental poke in the eye to Al-Turk, and an early stoppage to beat THAT awful excuse for a heavyweight.

I'd probably say he'd be in the end of the top 10 heavyweights in the UFC, if not lower.

Again? I think the most legit they ever looked in the "modern era" was Tim v AA when clearly Nog, Fedor, and CC all ranked above them.

what fight were you watching? Turk was throw predictable hay makers and looked like he didnt want to fight. eye poke or not he didnt look good. and it was a not an early stoppage, Turk was obviously knocked out.

i agree Mirko is past his prime, and i dont get why people are still so hung on like its 2005 but i love the guy allot too. i just think at this stage in his career its gonna be rough for him to win a championship regardless of where he fights. but that fight with Turk you got it all wrong.
