PeeWee / Eddie Sanchez
Sorry if I am late..but can someone tell me why Dave Herman and Eddie Sanchez did not fight at Bellator XII last night? I have been looking forward to this fight and can't find anything on why it didn't go down...? Any help by someone smarter than me would be appreciated.. Thanx!

I don't think anyone here really knows. There was a thread about this a few days ago, don't remember there ever being an answer as to what happened to the fight. I'd like to know myself.

there were no explanation from bellator, but indeed didnt happen, i was looking foward to it, imo it was $, they had a big amount of cash for the winners and went with a cheaper undercard, in another note pee wee is signed with sengoku, but if im strikeforce ill try to sign both of them to boost their hw division, 2 young and talented guys.

I train at Nashville MMA with Pee Wee, and won't see anyone until Monday. Everyone from the gym said they don't know what happened. I know up until LAST WEEK he was training twice a day for the fight. When I get a hold of Ed Clay (owner) I will come to this thread and let everyone know. Until then if anyone has a rumor of what happened???

Also Dave Herman’s fight in Bellator with Eddie Sanchez has been canceled. We’re looking at our options and if Bellator agree’s he’s looking at fighting in Japan in August. He’s under contract with Bellator and they must agree when he fights elsewhere. From what we’re hearing Dave will be fighting in the Bellator heavy weight tournament in September which will be huge if he wins.

Would have been a decent fight. Obviously neither of these guys are top heavyweights but both bring it and it would have been an interesting slugfest between two fighters attempting to regain some of the buzz that used to surround them.

Is there a specific reason you -want- to see this fight? It doesn't seem to be a very compelling match up to me!
