SHe can talk about how she couldn't get a fight for 4 years back in the day but I ask what procluded her from fighting in the last 2 years? Maybe the answer is there wasn't an Elite-XC around w/ TV and $, only evolved competition available with SmackGirl and FFF.
Debi looked the the size of a pro-wrestler, if Rosi can get through the early stages of the fight I think she'll take it. Trouble is I think they're setting up Carano Vs Sexton II, which to Gary Shaw means another smaller opponent for Gina who she's already KO'd = easy win. As much as I'd like to see it backfire and I'm sure it will one day, it's just not a fair fight size wise. If Elite XC really do want to concentrate on women's MMA, they need a 135lb division(and more divisions) because that's what they've brought all these women in to fight at.

I disagree. I think they want Debi vs. Gina. I would rather see that too instead of another undersized opponent for Gina.

I think Debi's a fair bit smaller than Gina too. She's signed to fight at 130, so I can't see her being anywhere near Carano-weight (whatever that is these days).

If they wanted Debi vs Gina, it doesn't make sense to have her fighting in a lighter weight class first. Kaitlin Young or Julie Kedzie at 140 would have made more sense. Who knows what they're thinking.

They're probably thinking that Gina wouldn't have much problem with either girl, which I really hope one of these girls proves them wrong.

I agree that It's a bit weird that any of the girls signed by EliteXC are trying to fight at a lower weight than 145, it would make sense to train for Gina as that's where the money is. Train at 160lbs and then cut to 145.

Girls like rosi are going no where near 160 or 145.They should have lower weightclasses.Force gina to make weight and not fight undersized opponents.

I like Woman's MMA. I think they should put it in tha WEC just to see how it goes. And if it fails at least they can say they tried.

We'll have 5 female fights on the next show 8/8/8. Some of our female fights are the most entertaining of the night.
