I really wish Hashi could get overeas fight offers. She's like me in that she can't take much time off from work... I was talking to her about this. I hope BODOG offers her fights, but they like you to take like weeks off. Anyone feel free to message me if anyone has Hashi offers. I can pass them along to management.

I hope to rematch Bazsler in the near future. I'm also looking forward to defending my Fatal Femmes Fighting belt later this year. I really hope I can do it because it all depends on my boss giving me the time off.

Takeshita is working like a dog. I hope she changes jobs so she can train again and get back in the ring.

Is Gina Carano just between weight divisions? Like, I'd love to fight her, but I'm 132, so it wouldn't be pleasant to agree to 135 and then she doesn't make weight. That happened to Rosi, I think it was? It doesn't seem like much from a guy's point of view, but the lighter someone is, more pounds count.

According to an old thread on fightergirls, the lightest carano has weighed in at for an MMA fight was 139 when she fought sexton. It has yet to be seen whether she can make 135, hopefully we'll find out one way or the other when she next fights.

Either way, though, I think she cuts a fair chunk to get to that weight... she must be walking around at at least 150.

She has never actually made 135 lbs. for an MMA fight yet. She couldn't even reach 140 lbs. for Kedzie and Carano has fought at 150 lbs. so even if she only misses a weigh-in by a few lbs. you know she is going to be much heavier than you at fight time. If you can handle Coenen though I feel you can do the same to Carano, though EliteXC short round quick standup rules make it harder.

i used to be one of those that thought female MMA were just freakshow bouts until i saw a few of Carano's fights and some of those girls are quite skilled, most of the matches were really entertaining and the girls showed alot of skill and athleticism, i can honestly say those female fighters showed alot more skill than some of the undercard guys you will see on ultimate fight night

How involved is her brother in her training?

I keep forgetting that MMA generally pays peanuts.

No, just naturally heavier and "attempting" to compete in 135 regularly according to her MMANews.com interview. The Sexton weight debacle was just that, but I doubt that'll ever happen again(and it hasn't and it was an isolated incident, unlike a previous poster would have you believe) since..

1. She has made the agreed upon weights after the Sexton fight (Vs, Elaina Maxwell at a natural 150) and then vs. Julie Kedzie (at 140 not 135 by Julie's request)

2. She's now training out of Couture's Vegas gym so I doubt they'd let any fighter representing them on any level blow weight. (remember how disappointed Randy was at Travis Lutter @ UFC 64)

(refer. XtremeCouture.tv)
3. She's supposed to be advertising for Xyzience supplement for women soon.

4. It'll be a while before the next Pro-Elite card/co-sponsored card, that gives her even more time at Xtreme MMA.

Congrats on the big tourney win, BTW.
