Su-hi's opponent has been changed from someone with no experience to Megumi Yabushita.

should be a slobber knocker. Su-hi has been training like a mad woman.

They're certainly not interested in giving her any easy bouts, are they? She's pretty much running the gaunlet of top women's competition, and it's only her 3rd fight. Best of luck to her.

She's kinda cute too, that'd aid Gary Shaw in putting her up against Gina (whom Shayna said was the one person she like to fight)

I think the fight might actually happen as Shayna is now scheduled to face Jan Finney(who Gina was supposed to fight last show) at the ShoXc on the 27th. Safe to assume the winner gets Gina in September(?), it'd be about 2 months later.

I really want that to happen. I'd sacrifice a standup war between these two strikers for it! Shayna, take her down for the easy sub.

Ouch! I thought yabushita was around 135lbs!

Great! I know Baszler has good stand up and good ground, but I've not seen much of her wrestling so far. It'll be interesting to see what she does with a good striker who wants to stand up with her.

Baszler / Carano will be very revealing on a few counts. Much better match than Finney, IMO.

Never seen female MMA that I can remember, question for the rest of you is: how is the regulating going for the female side of the sport? I know UFC is slowly going through the states that previously gave them snags in the past, but have no clue about the female companies...thanks in advance

Exactly the same as for the men, I believe, with the possible exception of California

I think a WUFC is in order at some point( at least a BIG WMMA organization)...i have rolled with some amazing chicks and sparred with some absolute dynamite strikers and i think they diserve alot more respect than what they get

Yeah, I haven't really seen her initiate tkdns but I think its safe to assume based on her tourny grappling exp, and her reversals/escapes/subs of: LaRosa, Kedzie, Modeffari, etc.. its there, enough for Finney anyway.

If it is indeed a match to determine Gina's Sept opponent, then I urge her eliminate Finney's puncher's chance.

I watched the womens Bodog fight last night and thought it was really good. Very close matchup though.

The Brazilian female who won was funny. I liked the capeora she was doing after the fight and the little dance she did.
