Sergei is back bitches!!!
I've been waiting along time for him to fight again..he's always been one of my favorites....he's got fantastic boxing and power in both hands.
He's only got three losses on his record all to top teir fighters.
Overeem which he came back and defended, a decision to Nog which is nothing to be ashamed of, and he just got plain caught by Aleks's power which can happen to almost anyone. He actually dropped Aleks and had him mounted for a while. But it's a fight and there's always a punchers chance and that's how it turned out that night. He got dropped and took a couple brutal knees to the face while he was stunned and that was it.
I mean he TKO'd Overeem, Rizzo, Schlit, Ninja, and had a decision over Werdum.
He's beat or had a very close fight with every top name he's ever fought.
I've always really wanted to see him and Fedor. Granted Fedor is much better on the ground if they stayed on their feet it would be a awesome fight to watch. The only person i would want to see fight Fedor as much as him is either Arlovski or Randy
I just think if he ever got those big high profile matches he could be a champion somewhere. He's got a solid chin and heavy hands and decent sub defense.
Thoughts.....welcome all...haters and supporters...what do you think.

I like him a lot too. He has good submissions too. I wouldn't mind seeing a third fight between him and Overeem. Hopefully now that they're both in Dream it'll happen.

He would have beat Aleks if he played it smart, but he let all the RTT/Red Devil bad blood get to him. He taunted and paid for it. However, I think he would win the rematch.

Yeah, huge Sergei fan.
He will be Dream's first HW champ.
Unless Fedor comes and gets it, and therefore has it forever.

Something is wrong with Sergei. Ever since the 2005 something ain't right about him. You know?
Against Russow he looked .....a little fat. He has also looked very slow in the last couple of years. He literally looks like a different person than he was in the 04' GP
Anyone else think so?

I've heard too many jokes about big meals and drinking with those RTT guys. Kopylov, Illoukhine etc..
I think inactivity and injury are the primary reason tho.

I hope you're right, I'd like to see a focused Sergei back in the ring.
