Not a writer. Just a fan.

Okay. It just seemed like you had a lot of inside information.

I might watch womens mma if it's free and there is nothing else on tv to watch. But the day putting a womens fight on a male fight card becomes common is the day I'll become one pissed off mma fan. Everytime an event has a womens fight on it's card I never pay for it. Freakin pisses me off when they put a female fight on a card in place of a male fight that deserves to be on the card.
Womens MMA is just fucking ridiculous. Freakin reminds me of the title IX bullshit that is fucking up mens wrestling here in the US.

oops. double post. I might as well add that I'm sure i'm speaking for the vast majority of the mma fan base, females included. Although most of them don't have the balls to admit it.

K, as the self appointed spokesman of the MMA community, you can just as easily continue to ignore women's mma and not post here, as I'm sure I'm speaking for most of the people in this thread when I say wdgaf about your opinion, thanks.

This.

Women's fights routinely take Fight of the Night honours on cards that also feature men's bouts, so the fans pretty much speak for themselves when cheering for the fights they like best. There have been a couple of poor female fights in Strikeforce, but it's been mostly really good.

If you don't like women's MMA, that's fine. Don't post here.

I agree. If all you want to do is hate, then just don't say anything.

I posted these in the Sarah Kaufman thread as well, but here is an interview and an article on Takayo Hashi, who fights Sarah on Friday.

- HASHI WANTS TO CRUSH KAUFMAN TO WIN TITLE - MMA WEEKLY

Takayo Hashi Prepares For Strikeforce Debut | MMARising.com

The first is an interview with MMAWeekly and the second is a combination interview and article written by Roxanne Modafferi, who has trained with Hashi. She seems really focused on this and it should be a great fight.

You're pathetic, FYI

I love Womens MMA just as much as fights featuring men. Hmmm, maybe that's because I'm a fan of the sport and I like seeing people compete. There are two things I usually hear in regards to people not liking Womens MMA

1) People who, while giving them credit for their ability, just don't feel right watching girls fight because they seem to have the social sense of a man in the 1800's. Women can fight, get used to it. You pretending they're just delicate little flowers who swoon and shit just makes you sound like you have never been around women for any length of time in your life.

2) Losers like you spouting grade 8 trash from the safety net of internet anonymity
