in 2000 none of the pros knew shit about wrestling. If someone would have been training takedowns with them, then the only way they could have gotten hurt is via judo. I was a fat bastard in 2003 and they had nothing on me as far as takedowns go. if they got hurt, they should have been in the little kid's class.
I wanted to edit. The three toughest guys were Lim Jae-seok, Lee Chi-seong, and Hong Joo-pyo. None of those guys would ever hurt a white guy bc of the money. I used to take those guys down at will. They ONLY knew Judo.

The whole Korean MMA scene really seems to be taking off. I have a hard time following non-major japanese orgs. hopefully MMA grows in China and Korea and the talent pool grows. Are there any new innovative techniques coming from the game in Korea. I always have felt each country has something to add, and korea can't be any different.

God I really wish I there was a bigger MMA scene in 99/2000 woulda been great to train there.
I would love to go back next year and see a few places.
Do they teach in English? my Korean is a bit rusty.

Are you talking about Yoon Dong Sik?I might be wrong,but I think he actually trains in Japan.
if you're talking about Kim Dong Hyun,he trains at Jung Shim Kwan
