Are there going to be any MMA events on in late May/early June? I'm going to be in Korea/Japan then.

I'm going to be in Daegu for most of it, since my gf's parents are there. But I'm going to check out Seoul and Pusan for a couple of days also.

congratulations, bro!
there are way too many underqualified English teachers here in Korea.
we definitely need more people like you.

Korean are starting to realize that just being able to speak English doesn't qualify a person to teach it, thus, your market value is about to go sky-high (especially with the new President that wants solid English education to be part of the core curriculum of all students up to college).
you did well

hard to tell by checking out the SpiritMC website (http://www.spiritmc.org/eng/).
the latest event, though, SpiritMC 16: Clash of the Pride, will be on April 27, 2008

Well, at first I was going to Tokyo but I had to change my plans. My home university has a mutual exchange agreement with Keimyung University (Daegu) and I was told I could go to there if I wanted to. I talked with some people who had been there (some Sherdoggers for example) and no one really had anything bad to tell about Daegu. That said, I decided to go there. Of course I could have chosen some country closer to Finland but that really doesn't interest me.

ahhh, I actually heard about that one. I visited his gym in Apgu a few months back and they said one was coming up. I'll be joining their team towards the end of May. I told the wife I'd wait till then to start back up training.

Good looking out by the way!!!

Kwang-hee Lee was on www.mfight.co.kr and he said he was no.1. Told Gomi to bring it. That dude is nuts. Real warrior. I'm not gonna tell him he may be biting off more than he can chew.

Also, I think that SMC 16 is gonna be a snoozer. Jae-son Lee is gonna maul his opponent and I don't care about Murata vs. Seung-bae Wui. I am slightly intrigued by the Jung-gyu Choi vs. Jae-young Kim. I think I'll stay home and watch this one on TV.
