If you're talking about pretty-boys in Korea, then its because they are superficial, spoiled, and materialistic. They copy what their favorite male celebrities, like Se7en, Bi, or whatever tv "dorama" actor (take your pick - they are like drops of water in an ocean) they admire, like most young people, they copy what they see and like.

With that image in mind, I don't think most Korean fighters, or fighters in general, regardless of their country of origin, fit the mold.
