Randy: not the greatest but the oldest

I've had many great nights watching Randy fight and I've been moved by his displays of atheticism, intelligence and courage. Hats off to him. the man is a warrior. But let's face it. With a shaky 16-8 record, several losses to LHWs and no sustained dominion of any cathegory, Randy, despite the veneration of the American crowd, has scarcely any chance of being considered the greatest among the elite of HWs. But he is indeed the oldest. Congratulations grandpa! I'll think of your glorious carreer you every time I'm plagued by rheumatism!

Randy is to be respected. But I do agree that he should have never been mentioned as the greatest HW.. I don't see how beating Tim and Gonzaga warranted that.. But he's as impressive as any athlete out there.. to do what he did at that age..

Vitor!?? Randy handed Vitor his ass. You obviously didn't see the fight Vitor won against Randy.

If Fedor beats Tim and Randy beats Fedor, Randy has a claim at top 5 all time heavyweight status.

If he loses to Fedor, well, he will be remembered as a kind of George Foreman old man, but MMA style.

Randy is a legend...and he is to be mentioned among the best heavyweights out there. People lose....especially in MMA.

Go back to boxing if you want undefeated, protected, corrupt records.

Why is his 16-8 record "shaky"?
