As talked about in some of his interviews, Jay used to run a Renzo-affiliate BJJ school up here in Troy, NY. It was taken over by two of his students, Nolan Dutcher and James Linic. The school is now called Lionkill BJJ. I took a class with Nolan. Real big dude. Seemed like a terrific wrestler too. Anyhoo, if anyone would like any links in regards to Lionkill BJJ lemme know and I'll post them.

Actually, Ive been training under the guy who owns the Gym Lionkill trains at in Troy and I have been meaning to look into joining them as well, so id love those links.

Yo are you from Troy? Lionkill is on the bottom of Hoosick St. , and I'm sitting in my apartment which is at the top of Hoosick.


BTW I don't really have anymore links. Lionkill got rid of their website. However, James Linic has a MySpace (and I think Nolan does too). Just look em up (again the privacy thing). Here's the info on the school itself. The school is basically a separate room within a gym in downtown Troy called Maximum Fitness. Here's their info:

I know they have classes on Wednesday (sometime around 6pm). When you walk into the gym, just ask the people at the Front Desk. They'll tell you the lionkill schedule.



Lionkill has a different school down-state in Kingston. I haven't been to that yet.

Averill Park, but close enough lol. I believe my teacher said they had classes on Sunday as well, so I keep trying to get down there, but the past 3 weeks have been shitty due to the weather.
