Good luck mate. Unless you're a doctor or highly skilled and qualified the only way is to marry an Aussie, and even that will take 5 years of Visa applications. Thats how long it took my highly qualified Scottish brother-in-law.

Anyone know what the hell was wrong with soa at UFC 79? I've seen him fight live several times in perth and east coast and he is usually amped before the fight and aggressive during. Was that the worst case of octagon shock ever or what? It seemed like he could barely raise his arm to wave to the crowd during his intro and his performance in the fight speaks for itself. I was really hoping to se him explode on sanchez and make an impact in UFC. Very dissapointing

You can get sponsored by someone and work for them, it will take around 3/4 years for you to become permanent resident.

Sao was disappointing indeed, especially all the hype surrounding him. I also think the atmosphere got to him, as he had a great training camp.

Yep, i was thinking the same thing too.
Soko was the same though.. Maybe Team Quest went too hard on them too long, or put too much pressure on them?
Hopefully it was just nerves, he seemed gassed very early on, but didnt explode to justify that.

I wasn't impressed by the 'gamesmanship' he did too. All the grinning and goading after being cracked and the like. it seems only the new guys to UFC seem to do that, possibly a nervous reaction to the big event.
