This is great news for mma in australia if we can continue to show this level of support for events like this then we will hopefully be getting bigger and better events in the future.Who knows maybe even one day a UFC or Pride event here

WOOOOOOOOOOOHHHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I've lived in los angeles for 10 yrs now but grew up in brisbane. Wild Dan ' sydney is ok, but both melbourne and brisbane are wayyy better cities, and that ain't biased hometown shit, I enjoyed sydney but it's not exactly developed it's own culture, alil bit more stolen commercial and tourism culture, no offense, still love sydney and my boys down there, but brisbane is just by far one of the most unique and interesting cities inthe world. my grandfather was an arichtect fo the opera hosue and was labeled 'crazy' for what he came up with.

who said they have SAW at southbank? interesting. i used to live on vulture st, across the street from the mater hospital. nothing was more fun than meeting a chick in the city at a bar who asks "where do you live?" at the end of the night and me saying a 15 min walk from here when she lived 45mins down in browns plains or some shit. they prefer option (a). grew up mainly northside, albany creek, clear mountain, strathpine.

and as far as brisbane night clubs HER MAJESTY"S was the best place ever during the early nineties. I went there every single friday night for almost 2 years.

and to the american who has tasted bundaberg rum... don't you wonder how this entire country can refer to Captain MOrgan as 'rum'??? can u imagine if Bundy rum was avaialble in usa???. Captain Morgan is considered buttpuss by aussies I believe and here it's the leading rum... actually it's the only one, there isn't any other dark rums in this country I think.

ANY aussies who want to send me a sixpack of VB or a tally or even a $2 throwback, I'll cut my lips off and send them back to you so you can rub them on yer dick.....I'll suck a hotti for a VB. USA=HUGE COUNTRY OF PPL WHO DON'T KNOW WHAT BEER IS.

fucking fosters..... more available in more varieties in usa than australia.
I should make PAL vhs tapes of U.S mma and send them to you guys. .. first thing I bought when I moved to usa was a pal playing vcr.

thanks for starting this thread and contributin aussies, makes me feel good..... I"m wearing a piping hot shirt from 1989 right now.

P>S> oh yeh. Tony BOnello is fucking great.... I had no idea hoffman was still competing, always look slow and fat to me, good luck to him. .. bonello should kill him though.

If anyone is keen SAW runs out of Cordellia Street south brisbane. It is at the southern end of the convention centre. We train Monday and Wednesday nights from 7-9:30 (class goes from 7:30) costs is $55 a month for 8 lessons and a $25 joining fee.

Hoffman ? Hmm.. why keep importing these going nowhere over the hill fighters for the "Gun" to fight ... prediction, another 2 minute choke out by the Bonello over a Hoffman who needs to buy his next meal ..

Aussies,

I figured this was as good a place as any to ask... I am studying abroad in Melbourne this semester (I live in the States), and I was wondering if you guys have access to the UFC/Pride PPV's over there? I saw a couple posts above this someone saying that you guys need to get the PPV's back before there's a chance of a UFC/Pride event being in Australia, so I'm not too optimistic. I would sure hate to miss fights like Penn/GSP while I'm away!
