The schools aussiemmafan listed are all good. Not sure about George Sotiropolous school though cause last i heard he was now based in Japan with Enson Inoue. Interesting to see that his website lists him as undefeated as well.

There is also:

Pete De Been (More BJJ based though) - http://www.peterdebeen.com/
Extreme JJ with Jone Donehue - http://www.extremejjg.com/

Hey Aussies, XFC and Red Corner Promotions where kind enough to put the main event of their Oct 13 event online for everyone to view.

It featured Australia's own Kyle Noke take on the Frank Shamrock trained Brian Ebersole.

What do you think?

What are the chances of James Te Huna getting a gig in the UFC or PRIDE?

I train at Extreme, great place. I think Coach Donehue will have a few more Shooto events some time early next year. Anyone know about it?

Gorgoth, i think James Tehunna is still a bit away from fighting in Pride or UFC. H elost against James Lee in a KOTC title fight very early. Just dont think he will cope yet but he is still fairly young in terms of his MMA career. Would have been good for him to compete at Mark Hunts show this wkend as the Pride CEO will be in attendance. Unfortunately he is out due to an injury. Definately stands a chance of being in Pride or UFC in a few years time if he keeps going like he is.

Drasti_Man, iv heard nothing about more events being held in melbourne. I hope John Donehue does hold some shows again. By all reports the shows he held a few years ago that had the likes of Couture and Buffer as guests were pretty good.

IMPORTANT to all Aussie MMA fans:

Tuesday 7 November
Fox Sports 3
7.30 pm - 8.30 pm
"Ultimate Fighter"
(Reality Series)

Everyone please tune in today and if you dont have Fox Sports 3, its a great time to visit those friends that have Fox Sports. What about those friends that dont mind watching a bit of MMA but arent hook or those friends that you non-stop talk about WWE wrestling. This show is perfect for them.

Email, sms, ring all your friends to tune in.

This is the first step to hopefully getting MMA back on PPV in Australia so make sure you support it.
