That's awesome!! Our e-mails didn't fall on deaf ears afterall.

This is a little victory for MMA fans in Oz, hopefully we can look forward to seeing other promotions on PPV in the near future...namely Dream and EliteXC

Man, this is such good news, This will be the first time I'll actually be able to watch Fedor fight live on an actual television instead of my computer monitor...best thing is I just bought a 106cm LCD in the end of financial year sales.

I'll have to have a few people over for that one f'sure!!

Affliction on PPV is great news. UFC buy rates must be solid for them to considering other shows. Well done everyone! Hopefully its just the start.

Remember do not forget the local shows which have also been getting runs on Fox Sports!!

Yea foxtel have really stepped up showing mma in australia they are to be congragulated for the amount of aussie and international mma that has appeared recently

True yes, but advertising no, they still lack in that area badly. MMA on all different channels, do no which channel sometimes to look out for MMA, yes of course TV guides, but would be nice from time to time to see MMA promoted on Foxtel channels; just like other sports such as Spanish Soccer.... they get more advertisement.

As for Affliction on Mainevent, I give Mainevent props, we have had UFC for some time and we get K-1 from time to time, good to see another MMA organisation shown on Mainevent, who knows, maybe down the track we might start getting DREAM, EliteXC, Cage Rage etc.... Will be history in the making for Oz, as it will be the first time Fedor Emelianenko will be shown on Australian TV in an MMA bout; if only we got it for free lol, only dreaming!!!
