hey guys, i am sean canova, from california. im a brown belt in bjj under todd medina. and, i do all the commentary for kotc p.p.v’s in usa for the last 2 years. aswell as the voice overs for the dvd’s. i have seen and commentated on all the videos of the former australian kotc fighters who fought in penrith for our usa delayed p.p.v market. some of you guys are very exciting. gorton graff is an extremely exciting fighter to watch. i know he left a big impression on terry trebilcock. he lets his hands really go. i also recently saw aussie fighter kyle noke fight in usa, and looks to be an athletic fighter with balanced all around skills. look forward to his fight vs scott smith. i have also met bonello a few times in orange county when he was sparring with rampage jackson and babalu. as i was jacksons conditioning coach. i have also seen brad morris’s fights. its good to see he is still fighting. he looks to be a real warhorse. i wish them all luck on their upcoming fights.

anyway, just letting you guys know bonello is fighting murilo ‘ninja’ rua in hawaii on april 26th for proelite. he is the older brother of shogun, who is fighting chuck liddell in ufc next. ninja has beaten mario sperry in pride. he ko’ed joey villasenor to win the elitexc world title. he went the distance in pride against paulo filho. lost split decisions in pride to dan henderson and quinton jackson.

also, if any of you are in california and want a place to train in conditioning or wrestling/bjj drop me a line.

take_his_back i would be very happy to lay down some cash with u that this will happen. i know several other guys from elitexc that would aswell. like turi atavilla (former pride matchmaker in usa) and terry trebilcock. both matchmakers for the fight. we are not betting that tony will win. but, we would all bet he is walking into the cage and fighting ninja. we bet the fight will take place. tony has signed a 3 year deal of 9 fights with proelite. this will only be his first fight. win/lose or draw. he will only improve over the next 3 years. he has alot of talent. he just needs a few tough fights on the big stage to polish his skills. and, feel what it takes to fight the best guys out there.

wal. the fight will be at 185lbs. tony originally wanted to fight at 205lbs. as he walks around at 220lbs+ but, ninja only fights at 185lbs now. so he will have to cut the 35lbs over the next 10 weeks.

finally we get to see bonllo fight someone with big show experience. i was wondering what was going on with him, all i was reading was who he was training with, but never about any fights. this will be great to watch.
who knows if ninja's cardio is like usual, an upset might be on the cards..

yeh, I went. It was a decent event, nothing special as far as the quality of the bouts but a good way to spend a Friday nite...they had it in a night-club this time instead of the theatres they've been previously holding them...

I like the rule set they use, which is the exactly the same as Pride... KOTG, Soccer kicks and stomps FTW!!

I just moved to Melbourne and am looking for a good BJJ or Judo school. I live near the city and was thinking about going to Ground Zero. Anyone train there? any insight would be cool.
