Hey guys, just posted a news piece on infinitemma about selected Fox Sports pubs and clubs showing the UFC this weekend. Great news.
Also heard that www.sportsbet.com.au that money being put on the fights have increased lately. Maybe the popularity is finally rising!!! Nice.

So im looking at having my first MMA fight in Darwin around July.

****Update**** Got in contact with the promoter in Darwin and he basically said that the rules of the fight will allow elbows, and knees on the ground! And my fight is going to happen in may, so i have around 12 weeks to prepare.

Hey man, may I ask your name if that's ok? As well as who the promoter is? Is it Corey Implemens or Michael Siebert? Also, who is the sanctioning body for the rules of your MMA fight? I ask because elbows and knees on the ground, especially for a first fight is a little too extreme. When I first fought in Darwin, it was under Shooto B-Class rules, where no elbows where allowed, and no heel hooks too.

Michael Siebert mate, he sort of explained whats going on, but he mentioned elbows and knees , but in saying that he will email me all the details and ill post it up on here.
Also, just spoke to Brad Morris, who won his fight against Masayuki Kono with a choke after knocking him down with punches in under 3 minutes!
