Actually, there should be a 230 weight class. The 60lb. weight gap is way too much. We'd see more of the big LHW's move up if they didn't have to fight 270 lb. giants.

Agreed... 205-265 is the only range that needs to be split up.

I don't see what the big deal is, as long as Elite XC doesn't have a 155lb division as well.

I want to know who Nick will face, maybe it will be Daley as speculated on the first page.

If that's the weight, then that's the weight. Why does it have to be "UFC"?? Does Dana doe ANYONE any favors, hell no. Nick's a great fighter to watch. I'd personally rather watch him than 90% of the guys in the UFC -- His fights are NEVER boring.

Or they could just use the UFC weight classes, and if another promotion gets big enough to compete they could have cross promoted shows. Politics aside of course...

No crap. He thinks it's high school wrestling. I would like to see an unlimited (Super Heavy) and a fly weight (145 and under) in the UFC just so we can see guys like Hunt and Pele or Faber and Pulver (at his natural weight) fighting. The stupidity of 30 weight classes is a title killer.

All that about Shaw is just speculation right now. So far they only have one title, the 185lb which Robbie holds and now the news of this belt. Let's just wait until we start condemning Shaw.
