This interveiw is kinda sad to me. Guess I just assumed if Fedor ever found God he'd light It up with punches and slap on an arm-bar.

I agree. I don't believe in god and i find the whole god thing a bit odd. I really look up to Fedor, but his religious beliefs are far from what i believe in

The mistake a lot of you are making is in imposing Western sensibilities about God and Faith on a man of Eastern upbringing. Christianity in the United States is a very different, silly animal compared to that of the rest of the world.
If you notice, Fedor speaks about finding the right way to live. That is the purpose of religion, to teach their devotees a better way to live. This is in STARK contrast with American organized religion, which ignores the teachings regarding a better way to live and focuses instead on persecuting and condemning those following other paths. There's a huge difference.
In most of the world, Christianity's main focus is on the self, on improving one's own life and actions so that the rest of the world will benefit by-proxy. In America, the focus is not on one's self, but rather on those who do not think the same. The effort that is put into condemning, guilt tripping, and even undermining the unbeliever's attempt to make a better life for themselves is shameful, and not Christian in the least.

And, what's your point? Whatever happened to freedom of thought and speech? Do you people realize that a good majority of Brazillian fighters are Catholic or that a lot of Japanese fighters are probable Buddhist or Shintoist? Why do atheists always act like they lose respect for a fighter when their religion is mentioned? Or act like that person must be a moron to have faith in a certain religion?

Pathetic. Because you found out your hero found God, your a little worried? Personally I'm more worried about Fedor basically confirming Aleks has Hep B and surprised more people aren't talking about this instead.

Fedor's brother got Hep B, he got kissed by a crack whore and Van Damme wanted to make love with him.
It's very normal he's trying to find God's support.
