Same here. I really thought JZ was gonna get screwed. Now I'm guessing they are expecting JZ to win and have to fight 2 weeks later. I hope he whoops both their asses and then if I'm lucky he'll get to beat up on Ishida and Kawajiri before it's all said and done. But then again I'd rather see Alvarez or Hansen in the final against Calvancanti as well.

For as cool as Dream has been so far, as of right now, I give it a 50/50 chance of still being around in 3 years. Pride folded. Bodog is all but over. IFL has been on life support. A lot of the smaller groups have been swallowed up by the UFC or EliteXC.

It takes a lot more then putting on kickass tournaments to guarantee success. I'm not sure why everyone is so confident that Dream will succeed where so many others have failed.

I hope they do succeed, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

You have no idea what you're talking about. When you put the IFL and Bodog in the same boat as DREAM, it showed me how little you know. Did you just start watching mma or something? DREAM has maybe at best a 5% chance of folding.

That was just one example, you giant retard. You really think Travis Lutter deserved to have a shot at the belt? You really think Serra deserved a shot at the belt? At least by having non title fights, the champ can stay active AND the top contenders can fight for the top spot.

Doesnt matter whoever fights Nagata is going to win. ITs JZ/Aoki for semifinal

I wanted Shaolin Uno for last fight of the first round on DREAM 2. Uno getting by is bullshit. But, oh well.

Agreed. While we are at it, I dont mind elbows on the ground either.

Back to the topic. I am fine with top fighters fighting 3-5 times a year. 2 fights in whole year is bullshit.

The NSAC and CSAC are pretty much a sofisticated system with great rules and regulations and perhaps most importantly they TEST fighters for everything so that everyone can have an equal playing field. They have done an awesome job keeping their fighters healthy.

They have evolved in the growth of MMA while Japan still calls for side shows and miss matches. Too much corruption in Japan because of a lack of a separate governing body. Pretty much Heros, Dream, K-1 etc. are all calling the shots and they do whatever they want, like telling a K-1 employee ref or judge to make certain decisions. There is no checks and balances.

exactly man exactly, now u are gonna get flamed because of all the japan wannabes,u are 100%$ right, who wants to see a dood that is 100% gonna win before he reaches the semis??? not me ,go to a school yard and watch bullys, same fucking thing
thats wwe style in my book
get a fighter to fight a fighter that has a equal chance of winning, not cro can vs dos caras jr for fuck sake, that cann shit is weak ,japan can have it ,i loved pride, when it came to the finals, the first couple fights are a waste of time, then u get to see wandy and cro cop fight in the final four both with sore hands and feet from owning a can or 2 that shouldnt have even been in the ring at that time!
u guys can have dream its illlll!
i watched it and i had to force myself to stay tuned cause bodog was on,dream=ill
