Well lets just hope Funaki has been dilligent in the gym, he is a legend but age marches along at different paces for everybody. Technically I think Saku was a stiffer challenge than Tamura but not by much. It would be nice to see Funaki win by some really odd sub, figure 4 or 'chin in eye' though I think the latter is now illegal. However from a pure grappling perspective Jacare's match should be a thing of beauty.

i feel bad for the wrestler kid. it's not like he even has that much of an advantage in his specialty considering Jacare displays great wrestling in his BJJ... he might rip the kid's arm off

Naw Jacare is usually a nice guy when it comes to subs, as far as I know he has never physically taken home a human body part in at least 3 years.

Beautiful is exactly what Funaki's grappling is to behold when he's at his best. Especially his transitions.
