I agree that it is too soon for the likes of Nelson, Buentello, & Rothwell. But that doesn't mean he has to keep on fighting old men who are just looking to pick up a check. There are plenty of young, hungry heavyweights working their way up the regional circuit who could provide Lashley with a challenge.
Lashley needs to be fighting guys like Devin Cole, Chase Gormley, Nick Penner, DJ Linderman & Ty Lee. Talented young guys with similar levels of experience who will come to fight. If he doesn't want to fight no names, then he should start booking some of the recent UFC washouts like Eddie Sanchez, Josh Hendricks, Dan Christison, or whoever doesn't the make the cut from the cast of TUF 10.

Thanks for all the great responses. I honestly haven't seen much of Lashley, but his first fight and his last. I also haven't seen Frye fight in a long time. I could go by age, but Randy has shown us that we can't just dismiss a guy simply because he's old. Lashley has a lot of potential and I'm hoping he doesn't make a dumb mistake that will allow someone with a lot more experience to capitalize on.

Lashley will kill Frye today....a few years ago Frye would have killed Lashley, but time catches up to all of us.

Ignore the Thompson fight... just the fact that Frye's last fight was against some old fat judo guy and Frye was Knocked out by Sonny from Dog the bounty hunter...... Lashley would kill him.
FYI Frye is fat now in case you didn't see his last fight... I really hope he doesn't do this fight.
