Well this is definitely interesting. If the fight gets made, Lashley will certainly be the favorite going in, but you can't totally count out the legendary veteran that is Don Frye.

I am a huge Frye fan, but Lashley will defeat Frye. Not in a badass Mustache having contest, but in MMA of course.

You guys are overhyping Lashley.
He knows he's deficient in many areas of his game, He's working on each part differently for each opponent. Working with ATT (experts and professionals) he's slowly becoming. I think its a good route, get more fights against people he has a good chance of winning. Records are built on lesser opponents at first, when he does get good, he will be fighting once or twice a year against quality opponents who require more time to train for.
If anything he should fight a known submission guy next.

Honestly, I think he should have one more "easy" fight. After this he should be reafy to face a real contenders. Maybe he fights Brett Rodgers(after he gets destroyed by Overeem in September) in December.

Wow, I wouldn't know who to root for with that one. I like Lashley and want him to continue to rise up in the ranks. I also like Don Frye because he's the most bad ass man on the planet. I wish Lashley would fight some other up and comers rather than people on the tail end of the career.

Frye could definitely take a lesson from his buddy Dan Severn in that regard.
Hell, I would love to see them put the friendship aside and have the battle of the mustaches, loser has to shave. I'd pay good money for that event.

Frye may have the huge experience advantage, but lets face it , Lashley is just too young, big and strong fro Frye at this stage of his Life.
