thats how i see it as well. but who knows? FACT, twice gannon held a choke on Kimbo, the second which must have been over a minute in length. Im not siding with Kimbo, or Gannon here, as i wasnt present when any kind of rules were made. But i must assume that TS wasnt either.

Not being present will not stop people on Sherdog from knowing.

Here on Sherdog people know more about how fighters are thinking than the fighters themselves. They know more about fighter contracts they haven't seen than the people that have seen and signed those contracts. They would do a better job promoting fighters than all promoters put together. They know more about how much the fighters are making than the IRS.

On Sherdog people have a special gift to know who is lying, who is afraid of who and who is better than who.

lol you forgot that Sherdoggers always know what weight fighters should drop/move up to.
And always have a better gameplan for the fighters than the fighter do themselves.

It does not take a special gift to spot a TD attempt or read interviews where some one points fingers when they are who broke the rules...just basic wrestling knowledge and the ability to read which I know not many people on this board have..

Back then Kimbo only knew how to punch... he probably didn't even know who the fuck Bas Rutten was. Times have changed and he's developing... he's still green, leave the guy the fuck alone.

theres a huge difference in getting dropped and being dazed, clutching at a leg. All gannon had to do was turn and walk away, allowing Kimbo to get up and keep fighting. (im assuming the rules were something to that effect). Not to CRANK a guillotine twice. No wonder Kimbo gassed by the end of it.

On Jimmy Kimmel Kimbo said the Ganon fight was controversial and that he'd like a rematch. I don't hear him claiming he didn't lose. Also, grappling was never allowed in any of his other "street" fights so I'm not sure why the Gannon fight would be any different regarding the rules.
