After the wholly disappointing Sak vs. Gracie match I went back and watched Saku's brilliant fight with Lil Nog and was shocked at how competitive a fight it really was. With Nog having a definitive size and reach advantage, Sak still gave almost as good as he got. Great fight! I guess this is nothing more than a tribute to Sakuraba, but I hope his legacy is remembered beyond the shell he is today.

Thank god for Pride dvds. I've been watching all the legacies back-to-back. I didn't catch Saku in his prime.
