If You Don't Buy Affliction, You Do Not Love MMA

If you do not buy Affliction and/or watch UFC over Affliction's showing - and this includes downloading Affliction illegally, which is even worse than not watching it at all - then you do not love MMA. Affliction: Banned is the single greatest card ever produced by an American mixed martial arts promotion. It is better than anything the UFC has ever put on - ever. It beast the stuffing out of UFC 36, least of all the supposed "greatness" of UFC 79. INdeed, it is on caliber with the Pride mega-events we know and love. It is a card which, for lack of a better word, is stunning.

Unless you physically are incapable of getting to see Affliction: Banned in a paid manner on the time of showing, then you hate MMA. Seriously.

It is time to set up. I just bought Affliction. If you love MMA, you either all ready have, or will by its showing tonight.

I am not kidding. This is a litmus test. UFC FN 14 is a joke compared to Affliction. It is not even worth the PRELIMINARY of banned.

If you do not watch Banned, you hate MMA.

i would buy affliction... but i live in japan, so the only live mma i get is Dream. but atleast im at the events.

While I am personally looking forward to purchasing the Affliction PPV, I would like to take this opportunity to tell you to climb off your high horse and go fuck yourself.

Just because someone might prefer the UFC, or prefer to watch free fights versus a $40 PPV does not mean they do not love MMA. A lot of folks are new MMA fans who love the sport, but haven't been exposed to anything yet that is not readily available on TV (UFC, EliteXC, IFL, Strikeforce). A lot of folks have families to support and would rather spend that money on piano lessons for their kids. A lot of folk are fucking poor and would rather spend that money on BJJ class. Finally, a lot of folks CAN'T buy Affliction because it isn't available where they live.

Get over yourself. Fans come in all shapes, sizes and colors, and there is no universal litmus test to tell who loves MMA and who doesn't.

Most posters who post here are very poor so you can't really expect them to pay for anything. That's that audience Dana caters too.

I am still debating. My Comcast bill has been huge with a UFC every month in addiction to Internet and the cableof course.

Affliction: Banned is available in most areas which have cable or satellite through ONDemand and other services. It is not a niche programme or a small event. They have gone out of their way to make it available.

If you support Ultimate Fight Night, you hate MMA. You are spitting on the gift of the -greatest card ever in America- and saying "we don't want that". If you want meaningless fights (Who the hell cares how Anderson Silva does in a weight class he isn't meant for?). Moreover, if you aren't aware of who these people are on the card, you probably don't even know UFC, either. Considering there is two recent UFC champions on the card in marquee fights.

If you can't afford 40 bucks, you shouldn't even be watching MMA to begin with. Go get a job. It's a one time expense. Why do you have cable if you are so cheap at all?
