I do a lot more browsing and reading around here than posting, but I train at Mezger's place and talk to him pretty regularly....he has said nothing like this.

I am not one to bash something or someone I do not know generally, but I would tend to doubt what you have said.

There is quite a bit of hub-bub around the gym/etc about HDNet.

That's all i know. If anybody out knows more or the real reasons please let me know. I thought HD Net Fights was doing good and this is a big shocker to me.

I thought it was false info, but I went on HD net fights' website and they haved
removed the show they had scheduled in Feb.
Dana is that you?

Well, ESPN, when talking about Mayweather's interest in going into MMA with Mark Cuban, referred to CUban's organization HDNETFIGHTS as a "Fledgling" organization.

So it probably is going in the shitter.

Look at it from pure exposure. Not everyone has HDNET. Mostly DIRECTV subscribers. So there you don't get the access.

And only Internet geeks believe that people will log onto the internet just to look for MMA fights.

By the way....

some serious misinformation here...

HDNet and HDNet Fights are run separately. What happens to one does not affect the other.

Perhaps the event is just being pushed back....

This is my first post here, but I also train at Mezger's gym. He said the February show was going to be pushed back a bit b/c it's just too big an undertaking right now to try to put on a 3rd show in such a short time frame. HDNet fights has only been in existence for about 3 months or so.

This is absolutely false...they just signed Scott Ferozzo and Tank Abbott to go at it in a Belly Bucking Contest; and get this - at stake is a 6pack of Red, White, & Blue and a box of Moon Pies.

Do you also know because of this months MMA coverage on HDNet, Jodka and a few other Sherdogger's went out and bought an HD TV and got HDNet. With HDNet now being the home of MMA basically with 24 live shows this year, more and more people will be doing the same. Also, HD TVs are cheap now, and that is where the future is. So, bashing on it makes no sense. It is like bashing on Color TV when it was B&W before.
